Obituary

Robinette Kossar, 77, of North Belle Vernon, passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2024. A daughter of the late Thomas and Dolores Sanko Jesick, she was born in North Charleroi on January 16, 1947. A lifelong resident of Belle Vernon, Robinette was a member of Saint Sebastian Roman Catholic Church. She retired from the former Mon Valley Hospital where she had been employed as a registered nurse. Robinette loved her grandchildren, baking, and was an avid reader. She is survived by a daughter, Kalie Kossar of Morgantown, WV, a son, Gary S. Kossar of Charleroi, a granddaughter, Katlyn Kossar of Belle Vernon, and a brother, Timothy Jesick of Pittsburgh. In addition to her parents, she was welcomed into heaven by her husband, Gary Kossar on November 4, 2023, her son, Todd Kossar on January 27, 2022, and her grandson, Logan Kossar on August 27, 2023. Burial was private in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
