Center Hospital; Jefferson
Borough. Born Oct. 29; 1920;
in Donora; he was the son of
the late John Warner and
Marie Windstrand Carlson. He
was retired from the Municipal Authority of Washington
Township. A member of the
Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Mormon) in
Carroll Township; he was a
U.S. Navy veteran of World
War II. Survivors include his
wife; Bernice Staff Carlson; a
son; Norman Robert Carlson of
Star Junction; a daughter;
Sally Schneider of Smithton; a
brother; Carl Nord of West
Newton; two sisters; Velma
Horgan of Dormont and
Esther Carlson of Fayette
City; and four grandchildren;
Heidi Muziani; Diana Maksim;
Norman Robert Carlson Jr.
and Shauna Carlson. In addition to his parents; he was
preceded in death by two
brothers; William and Edwin
Carlson. There will be no public visitation. Funeral services
will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday in the Belle Vernon Cemetery Chapel; Broad Avenue;
Belle Vernon; with Glen Alton
ofiiciating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
