Jennie Cardinale,81,of 117 Reed Ave.,Belle Vernon,died Thrusday,Dec. 23,1999,in Mon Valley Hospital. Born Jan. 10,1918,in Belle Vernon,she was the daughter of the late Michael and Margarita Penetente Giampetro. She was a lifelong resident of Belle Vernon,where she was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church. Mrs. Cardinale was retired from the Belle Vernon Area School District. Survivors include one daughter, Joanne Molek,with whom she made her home;one sister, Stella Giampetro of Belle Vernon;two grandchildren,Michael Louis Semancik Sr. and Mac Joseph Molek;and two great-grandchildren,Michael Louis Semancik Jr. and Jenna Anne Semancik. In addition to her parents,she was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Charles Cardinale Sr.;one son,Louis Charles Cardinale Jr.;and two brothers, Mario DeBennett,on April 4,1994 and James Jampetro on Feb. 22,1998. Friends will be received Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.,700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon. Prayer service will be held Monday at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home,followed by Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Sebastian R.C.Church with the Rev. Donald Trexler,parochial vicar,as celebrant. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.,a Golden Rule funeral home,is in charge of arrangements.
