Jeanne L.Cohen;of 211 Water St.;Belle Vernon;died Sunday;Sept.5;1999;in Havencrest Nursing Center;Carroll Township. She was born in Speers on Dec.20;1907;a daughter of the late Eugene and Jeanne Coliou Moreau. Mrs.Cohen was a member of the First Baptist Church of Belle Vernon;the Belle Vernon American Legion Auxiliary;the Goldenagers of Belle Vernon and Charleroi;the Long Branch Grange;and was a past noble grand master of the Belle Vernon Rebekkahs. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by her husband;Hymie;by five brothers;Eugene;Louis;Leon;George and Lawrence Moreau;and two sisters;Angel Reach and Mary Ferrari. Survivors include several nieces and nephews;including devoted nieces Frances Sivek of Monessen and Dorian Sickles of Monongahela;and nephew Lawrence Moreau of New York City;N.Y.;and a dear friend;Sam Bell of Elco. Friends will be received in the FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME;INC.;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home Wednesday at 10 a.m. with Pastor Frank Sgromlo officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
