Donald R. Caterino, 81, of Monessen, passed away on Friday, April 11, 2025, at his home. Don was born on March 29, 1944, a son of the late Joseph and Anna Mc-Laughlin Caterino. Don was Catholic by faith. He had served his country honorably in the National Guard. He was an employee of the Monessen Coke Plant from 1962 until his retirement. He was an avid sports fan of all Pittsburgh sports teams, following the Pittsburgh Pirates, Monessen High School athletics and his grandchildren’s sporting activities. Surviving are his wife, Vicki Cook Caterino; two daughters, Lisa and husband David Evans of Monessen, and Lori and husband Brian Milan of North Belle Vernon; son, Donald Jr. and wife Kristie Carterino of Monessen; grandchildren, David Evans Jr., Zachary Evans and Emma, Brady Evans and Alisha, Brian Milan Jr., Alyson and husband Matt Breymeier, Tyler Caterino and fiancee Kendra Henry, Sydney Caterino and “Bub” and Lacy Caterino and Seth; great-grandson, Vinny; sister, Joanne Caterino Leber; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Donna Caterino; and brother, Joseph Caterino. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to RHOME FUNERAL HOME INC., 1209 Grand Blvd., Monessen, where friends will be welcomed from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11 a.m. Tuesday and will be officiated by the Rev. Jack Howell. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
