Kerry C.Culp;48;of 24 Somer St.;Pricedale;died Tuesday;Jan.27;1998;at 9:05 p.m.in the emergency room of Mon Valley Hospital;Carroll Township. Born June 3;1949;in Mount Pleasant;he was a son of Luther G.Culp of Pricedale and Anabelle Houseman Culp of Charleroi. A retired U.S.Army veteran;he was a member of Belle Vernon American Legion Post 659 and the Pricedale Hungarian Club. Mr.Culp was a communication specialist for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. He was also an instructor at Chon’s School of Karate. In addition to his parents;survivors include his wife;Vielka Garcia Culp;one son;Kerry C.Culp Jr at home;two daughters;Mrs.Todd (Carrie Ann) McDaniels of Guam and Chrystal Ann Culp at home;three brothers;Shawn L.Culp of Pricedale;Frank Feran Culp of Charleroi and Rori Culp of Donora;two sisters;Mrs.Richard (Michele) Triggiani of Arnold City and Mrs.Alex (Crystal) Amicarella of Sutersville;and two grandchildren. Friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home;626 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;where a prayer service will be held Friday at 9:30 a.m.;followed by Funeral Mass at 10 a.m.;in St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church;Belle Vernon;with the Rev.E.George Saletrik;parochial vicar;as celebrant. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Legion of Mary of St.Sebastian Church will recite the Rosary Thursday at 3 p.m.in the funeral home. Belle Vernon American Legion Post 659 will conduct a service Thursday at 7 p.m.in the funeral home. The Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
