Robert D.Clark;74;of Monessen;died Friday;Aug.29;1997;in Mon Valley Hospital. Born April 9;1923;in Belle Vernon;he was the son of the late David and Margaret Clark. Mr.Clark was a retired railroad conductor on the Monessen Southwestern Railroad. A World War II veteran;he was a member of American Legion Post 28;Monessen. He was also a member of the Reorganized Church of Latter Day Saints in Fayette City. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by his wife;Doris E.Clark. Surviving are a daughter;Debbie Holmes of Monessen;three sons and two daughters-in-law;Bill G.and Donna Clark of Stockdale;Bob Clark of Nashville;Tenn.;one brother and sister-in-law;Dave and Betty Clark of Kissimmee;Fla.;and three grandchildren;Crystal and Tanya Clark of Stockdale and Shannon of Nashville;Tenn. Friends will be received Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Rhome Funeral Home;Inc.;1209 Grand Blvd.;Monessen;where services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. with the Rev.William Mines officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by the Rhome Funeral Home Inc.
