Obituary

Clara G. Clymer,75,of Belle Vernon R.D.2,formerly of San Fernando, Calif.,died Wednesday,Aug. 14,1996,in Mon Valley Hospital, Carroll Township.  Born May 2,1921,in Monessen,she was a daughter of the late Nicholas and Katherine Nemocek Lewis.  A 1939 graduate of Monessen High School,Mrs. Clymer was Protestant.  She had lived in Belle Vernon the past two years. During World War II,Mrs. Clymer worked for the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). She retired in 1983 after 30 years with the International Brotherhood of Teamsters in California. Survivors include one sister, Margaret Allen of Belle Vernon R.D.2,with whom she made her home,and two brothers, Nicholas Lewis of Fairless Hills and James R. Lewis of Belle Vernon. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Irene Bebis and a brother, John L.Lewis. Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.,700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon.  Services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m.,in the funeral home,with the Rev. Marlin Miller,pastor of the Fells United Methodist Church officiating.  Interment will follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.  The Ferguson Funeral Home Inc. is handling the arrangements.
