Gilbert E. (Gibby) Coursin;
59; of 134 Jean St.; Belle Vernon; died suddenly Tuesday;
Nov. 15; 1994; at 12:18 p.m. in
Mon Valley Hospital.
He was born April 26; 1935;
in Monessen; a son of the late
Gilbert and Gladys Hixenbaugh Coursin.
He was a lifelong resident of
the Belle Vernon community.
He was a member of the First
Presbyterian Church; Belle
Vernon. For the past 41 years;
he was employed at the
Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel
Corp. Allenport Plant; where he
worked as a millwright. He was
a peacetime veteran of the U.S.
Army; having served in the armored division. He was a member of the Fayette City American Legion Post 44; the F&AM
Lodge 649; Belle Vernon.
Survivors include his wife;
Patricia D’Antonio Coursin;
one son and daughter-in-law;
Lance and Michelle Coursin of
McKeesport; one daughter and
son-in-law; Leigh and Scott
Taylor of North Charleroi; one
sister; Mrs. John (Lucille) Rapchak of Belle Vernon; and one
grandson; Dalton Gilbert
Coursin.
Friends will be received Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and
Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9
p.m. in the Leonard J. Parzynski Funeral Home; 626
Broad Ave.; Belle Vernon;where funeral services will be held Friday at 10 a.m.with Dr.George Hickok;pastor of the First Christian Church of Charleroi;officiating and Richard J.D’Antonio co-officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. F&AM Lodge 649;Belle Vernon;will hold services Thursday at 7 p.m.in the funeral home. He is also survived by a niece;Janet Rapchak of Belle Vernon. The Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
