Obituary

Annabelle Johnson-Stitch, 82, of Pricedale, took the stairway to Heaven on Saturday, July 11, 2015.  Born in Van Meter on April 27, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Trimmie and Suzie Allen of Belle Vernon. At the top of the stairway she was reunited with her late ex-husband, Lawrence Johnson; brothers, Raymond Allen, Robert Allen and Benny Allen. As she entered the gates, her sister Mary Anna Allen was waiting on her as she knew God had sent for another angel. As she turned the corner she was greeted by her three sons, Timmy, Victor and Billy Stitch with smiles so bright and at that time she knew everything was going to be alright. Standing by their sons, was her beloved partner, who shared her life, the late Julius Stitch. As the gates of Heaven closed she looked backed and said I leave to cherish my memory; five sons, Lawrence Johnson and Robert Stitch of Monessen, John Stitch of Charleroi, Marvin Johnson of the state of California and Julius (Dorothy) Stitch of North Carolina; four daughters, Gloria Johnson and Kimberly Stitch of Belle Vernon, Julie Stitch of Monessen, Marvella (David) Mollison of St. Louis, MO; brothers, Willie (Robin) Allen of Kentucky, Joseph (Sharon) Allen of Hawaii; sisters, Suzie Pless of Belle Vernon, Mary Foreman of Charleroi and Estelle (Harold) Fields of the state of California.  She loved all of her 30 grandchildren, 54 great grandchildren;  many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  As she smiled and waved, she would say “I can't wait to see you soon”.  The gates of Heaven closed.Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at Antioch Baptist Church, 945 Henry Street, Belle Vernon.  Funeral services will take place at the church at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 16, 2015, with Reverend Clifford Carter officiating.  Interment will take place at Belle Vernon Cemetery.
