Obituary

JJan Ellen Tintori Rosenau, 65, of Upper Marlboro, Maryland, formerly of Belle Vernon, Pennsylvania, left this world on November 21, 2021. The sole child of the late Robert Lee Tintori and Eula Mae Dietrich Tintori, she was born in Belle Vernon on November 23, 1955. Jan was a certified elementary special education teacher for 40 years, ensuring the children received a great learning experience. She was known for being well prepared for each day as well as her flexibility to adapt when required to lead a class that she was not previously assigned. Starting long before retirement, Jan got together with several of the neighborhood “golden girls” every morning to get their 10,000 steps in. Jan & her husband Dave travelled whenever they could find the time with Acadia National Park being the highlight. Survivors include her husband, David M. Rosenau, and two sons and a daughter in-law, Justin C. Rosenau of Upper Marlboro, Maryland, and Tyler M. and Mary Palmer Rosenau of Pensacola, Florida. A remembrance celebration will be held on December 11 from 6:00-9:00 P.M. at FOP Lodge-89, 2905 Old Largo Road, Upper Marlboro, MD 20772. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Fayette County, Pennsylvania Meals on Wheels. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ferguson Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 700 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon. 724-929-5300. www.FergusonFuneralHomeandCrematory.com.
