Once again the Heaven-bound train pulled into the depot and the conductor beckoned for Eddie Williams Jr.,72,of Monessen to get on board and so he stepped on the train on Wednesday,May 16,2018. Eddie was born on March 5,1946,in Aliquippa to the late Eddie Williams Sr. and Sadie Williams. He grew up,attended school and graduated from Aliquippa.He loved his family,sports and always kept his car clean and shiny. He worked at J&L Steel of Aliquippa. He met,fell in love and married the love of his life,Phyllis Dupree. Eddie accepted the Lord as his savior and he made his confession of faith under the leadership of Bishop Karl Jackson,pastor of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church. Eddie is survived by his beautiful wife,Phyllis Williams; son,Jamally of Monessen;daughter,Tiara of Aliquippa;three brothers,Harold,Jerry and Sylvester;five sisters,Mamie,Jerriann,Linda,Sandra and Wanda;three grandchildren;six great-grandchildren and extended family members Charles Glover,Stacey Glover,Lee Glover,Charmine Glover and stepson,Eric Dupree.Viewing will be 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday,May 22,with service starting at 11 a.m. at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church,230 Reed Ave.,Monessen,with Pastor Bishop Karl Jackson officiating.
