Obituary

Charles E. Coughanour, 62, of
108 Perry Ave., Fairhope, Belle
Vernon, died Tuesday, July 24,
1990, in Jefferson Center
Hospital, Jefferson Borough.
Mr. Coughanour was born
Aug. 8, 1927, in Banning, a son of
the late Lloyd and Grace Hough
Coughanour.
He was a retired shipper at the
former Page Division of the
American Chain and Cable Company
in Monessen.
Mr. Coughanour was a former
firefighter and captain with tbe
Washington Township Volunteer
Fire Department.
He had been a Fairhope resident
for the past 36 years, having
formerly lived in Banning.
Mr. Coughanour was a
member of the Marion
Presbyterian Church, Fairhope.
He was a U.S. Army Air Corps
veteran of World War II.
Surviving are his wife, Mary
Belle Blacka Coughanour, one
daughter, Mrs. Coleman
(Janice) Donahue, of Pittsburgh,
two brothers, Elvin
Coughanour of West Newton and
Rodney Coughanour of Banning,
two grandchildren,Lynn DiZenzo of West Mifflin and Coleman J.Donahue III of Baldwin and six
great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received
Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and
Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9
p.m. in the Ferguson Funeral
Home, Inc., 700 Broad Ave.,
Belle Vernon. Funeral services
will be held in the funeral home
on Friday at noon with the Rev.
John C. Park of the Marion
Presbyterian Church officiating.
Interment will be in
Belle Vernon Cemetery. The
Washington Township Volunteer
Fire Department will hold services
on Wednesday at 8 p.m. in
the funeral home. The Ferguson
Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of the arrangements.
