Charles Carini;93;of 10 Sampson St.;Belle Vernon;died Tuesday;April 17;1990;at 5:50 p.m.in Mon Valley Hospital;Inc.;Carroll Township. Born Aug.22;1896;in Belle Vernon;he was the son of the late Francesco and Rosa Vannucci Carini. Mr.Carini lived most of his life on the Belle Vernon area;and was a member of St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church. A U.S.Army veteran of World War I;he served with the Army Band and was a member of the Disabled American Veterans and a life member of Belle Vernon American Legion Post 2788. He was former director of the Belle Vernon Musical Society Band. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by six brothers;Mario;Joseph;Nello;Vincent;Deno and Peter Carini. He is survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m.in the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;where services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Belle Vernon American Legion Post 2788 will conduct services in the funeral home at 7 p.m.Thursday. Arrangements are being handled by the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.
