Bernadette Keegan, 65, of Monessen, passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2015, in UPMC Presbyterian. Pittsburgh. She was born Sept. 13, 1949, in Charleroi, a daughter of the late Benjamin and Edith Martin Nichols. She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister. She will be deeply missed by many. She touched everyone's hearts. She was a wonderful person inside and out. Surviving are her partner of 28 years, Bruce Davis; children, Tom, Allen, and Alice Keegan all of Monessen; eight grandchildren, Amanda Keegan, Tom Keegan Jr., Jehmal Jordan, Brett Jordan, all of Monessen, and Tyler, Hope, Kansas, and Allen Keegan Jr. all of Washington; sisters, Alice and husband, Allen McElfresh, Gloria DeStefano; and a brother, Carl and wife, Kathy Nichols; brother-in-law, John Kudlik and sister-in-law, Sue Nichols, aunt Ann Scheirman; several nieces and nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Shirley Kudlik, John T. Nichols, Patricia Stout, Charles E. Nichols, Benjamin Nichols Jr., Eileen Nichols; and a grandson, Michael Allen Keegan. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the RHOME FUNERAL HOME INC., Family Owned and Operated as a Member of the Golden Rule, 1209 Grand Blvd., Monessen, where friends will be welcomed from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday, April 19, 2015. Services will be held at Rhome Funeral Home Monday, April 20, 2015, at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
