Kathryn L. Cunningham, 709 Fayette Ave.,Belle Vernon,died Tuesday, Nov. 11, 1986, in the Waddington Convalescent Home at 9:55 p.m. She was 81. Mrs. Cunningham was born in Knox on Nov. 1,1905, a daughter of the late Jacob and Martha Graff. She was a member of First Christian Church in Belle Vernon and the Magic City Bridge Club. She spent most of her life in the Belle Vernon area and was a 1926 graduate of Monessen High School and a 1928 graduate of California Normal School. She received her B.A. from California State College in 1955. She was a substitute teacher in the Belle Vernon Area School District for many years before retiring in 1970. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, H. Cliffford Cunningham on June 17,1970. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. James (Joane) Manetta,with whom she made her home; four sons, Robert G. of Belle Vernon,Allan L. and Roy R. both of North Tonawanda, N.Y.,and Harry of Sykesville, Md.,a brother, Fred Graff of Honolulu,Hawaii,a sister, Gladys Wellen of Chicago,Ill.,18 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Shelby D. Ferguson Funeral Home,700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,on Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Friday at 11 a.m. Burial wil be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Shelby D. Ferguson,funeral director.
