Dominic J. Mavrikas, 23, of North Belle Vernon, passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at 11:40 P.M. as the result of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. He was born in Monongahela on March 7, 1993, a son of Tommy J. and Rosemary Mavrikas who survive and reside in N. Belle Vernon. Dominic was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church and the Vandal's Motorcycle Club. He was a 2011 graduate of Belle Vernon Area High School and the Westmoreland Vo-Tech. A union painter, he was currently working on the I-70 Belle Vernon - Speers bridge project. In addition to his parents, survivors include his girlfriend, Alyssa Zenobi of Belle Vernon, two brothers and one sister-in-law, Ryan and Nicky Mavrikas of Ohio and Anthony Mavrikas and his friend Gina Ritter, both of Washington, PA, three nephews, Ryder, Dante and Payton Mavrikas, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins and his best friend, 'Harley'. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M.
