Ethel Hopkins Cosil of Forward Township R.D.3,died Thursday morning, Dec. 17,1981 in the McKeesport Hospital following an extended illness. She was 83. Mrs. cosil was born Feb. 11,1898 in Monessen,a daughter of the late Joseph and Nancy Jane Martin Hopkins. She was a member of the Elizabeth United Methodist Church. Mrs. Cosil was a membr of the Order of Eastern Star,Clairton Chapter 316;the White Shrine of Jerusalem, Monongahela Shrine; and the Forward Twp. Senior Citizens. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Patricia Jane Driscoll with whom she resided;one grandson;one great-grandson; and two nieces, Mrs. Mary Rita Driscoll and Mrs. Ruth Ann Eshelman,both of Forward Twp. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home,221 Second St., Elizabeth,on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. where services will be held on Saturday,Dec. 19,at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Paul E. Wilson Sr. officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
