Richard W. 'Dick' Kefover, 93, of Jefferson Twp. (Perryopolis), went to be with the Lord on Monday, December 24, 2018 in Mon Valley Hospital. A son of the late George and Maude Davidson Kefover, he was born in Monongahela on November 21, 1925. Dick was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Belle Vernon, where he had served as an elder, the Tri County Lodge #252, F. & A.M. and the Fayette City American Legion. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and retired in 1985 from Dyna Nobel. A resident of Jefferson Twp. (Perryopolis) since 1959, he was formerly of Belle Vernon and Monongahela. He enjoyed making and selling stained glass. Survivors include his wife of 69 years, June Devesse Kefover, one daughter, Vicki L. Gardner of McDonough, GA, one son and daughter-in-law, Dana B. and Edie Kefover of Jefferson Twp., four grandchildren, Jason Gardner, and his wife, Andrea, Nicole Watford, and her husband, Robert, Dylan Kefover and Maverick Kefover and two great-grandchildren, Jason Gardner, Jr. and Chloe Watford. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Tracy Lee Kefover in 1963, and two sisters, Frances Locy and Sharon Brletich. Friends will be received on Thursday, December 27, 2018 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM in the Ferguson Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 700 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon. 724-929-5300

Suzanne Currie officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The officers and members of the First Presbyterian Church will meet in the funeral home on Thursday at 7:00 P.M. to hold services. Members of F. & A.M. Lodge 252 will meet in the funeral home to hold services at 7:30 P.M. Thursday.
