Obituary

George A.Cunningham,88,of Fallowfield Twp.,RD 1,Charleroi,died at 6:32 p.m.Wednesday,April 30,1980,in Mon Valley Hospital.  He was born Sept.8,1891 in Belle Vernon,the son of the late Henry and Carrie Cunningham.  Mr.Cunningham was retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel,Allenport plant.  He leaves a son,Jesse W.Cunningham,Clairton;two daughters,Mrs.George (Evelyn) Burger and Mrs.Raymond (Hazel) Michele,both of Fallowfield Twp.;a sister,Mrs.Edith Jones,Belle Vernon;six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his wife,the former Josephine Blackburn,and a son,Lloyd.  Friends will be received at the Schrock-Hogan Funeral Home,Inc.,226 Fallowfield Ave.,Charleroi,from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Thursday and Friday.  Services from the funeral home will be held at 1 p.m.Saturday with the Rev.George Kennedy of Grace United Methodist Church,Coal Center,officiating.  Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
