Rosetta Crenshaw,83,died Tuesday, Jan. 17,1978 at 2:05 a.m. in the Westmoreland Manor, Greensburg. A former Monessen resident, she had resided at 543 Chestnut St. She was 83 years old. Born in Lynchburg, Va.,on Jan. 28,1895,she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Rosetta Dillard. Mrs. Crenshaw was a resident of Monessen for approximately 70 years. She was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church,Monessen,and was the church Mother for many years. She is survived by four sons, Leroy Stanford of Detroit,Mich.,Carl Payne of Monessen,Bernard Crenshaw of Pittsburgh and Clinton Crenshw,Jr. also of Monessen,13 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received in the William R. Taylor Funeral Home, 645 McMahon Ave.,Monessen,Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. in the Fellowship Baptist Church,Monessen,with Rev. W.J. Hubbard,pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Taylor Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
