Mollie bezuska;86;of Rostraver Street;Monessen;died Sunday;Aug.27;2000;at her daughter’s home in Limestone Township;Clarion County. Born Oct.18;1913;in Charleroi;she was the daughter of the late John and Judith Matejka Yerga. A 1931 graduate of Monessen High School;she was a homemaker who loved gardening;needlework;bowling;traveling and playing cards. She was a member of St.Paul’s Lutheran Church of Monessen. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Monessen Hilltop Fire Department;Monessen Senior Citizens and the local AARP. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by her husband;Milan Besuska;a daughter;Judy Vensel;one brother;John Yerga ;and one sister;Julia Helde. Survivors include one daughter;Frances Williams of Limestone Township;two sisters;Helen Yerga Sullivan of Stroudsburg and Margaret Yerga Piergalski of Uniontown;two grandchildren;Michelle Vensel of Stamford;Conn.;and Kirsten Vensel of Los Angeles;Calif.;and numerous nieces and nephews. There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held Thursday Aug.31;at 10 a.m.in St.Paul’s Lutheran Church;Monessen;with the Rev.Tom Senge officiating.
