Obituary

David D.Bradley,79,of 828 Speer St.,North Belle Vernon,died Sunday,July 23,2000,at 9:14 a.m.at his residence. Born Sept.27,1920,in North Charleroi,he was the son of the late Clyde E.and Lillian G.Dennis Bradley. Mr.Bradley was a resident of North Belle Vernon for the past 52 years and was a member of the First Christian Church of Monessen. Mr.Bradley was a World War II veteran,serving in the U.S.Army 1st Infantry Division. He retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel,Monessen plant,where he worked as a pipefitter with 42 years of service. He was a member of the Belle Vernon American Legion Post 659. Survivors include his wife Marie (D'Errico) Bradley,with whom he was married for 52 years,a brother and sister-in-law,James and Madeline Bradley of Monessen,a sister-in-law,Bertha Bradley of Monessen,and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents,he was preceded in death by a son,David Bradley,two sisters,Nelle Ambrose in 1974 and Minerva Bradley in infancy,and by four brothers,Albert Bradley in 1983,Howard Bradley in 1994,Charles Bradley in 1996 and George Bradley in infancy. Private family visitation was held Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.at the LEONARD J.PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME,family owned and operated,626 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m.in the funeral home,with the Rev.Conrad Auel of the First Christian Church of Monessen officiating. Interment took place in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of David D.Bradley to the First Christian Church of Monessen-100th Anniversary Fund,to Community Ambulance Service,or to the North Belle Vernon Fire Department.
