Obituary

Walter A. Barch Sr., loving
husband, father and grandfather, 83, of Lynnwood, Belle
Vernon, died Tuesday, May 16,
2000, in Frick Hospital. He
was born July 14, 1916, in
Monessen, son of the late
Dominic and Eleanor Sczeran
Barch. He was a member of
Holy Spirit Roman Catholic
Church, Fayette City, Fayette
City American Legion and
Fairhope Rod and Gun Club.
He is survived by his wife,
Adeline M. Bilski Barch, two
sons and daughters-in-law,
Walter A. and Barbara Barch
Jr., of Arnold City, and Robert
and Tammy Barch of Lakeland,
Fla., six grandchildren,' Walter
T. Barch, Kimberly A.
Ayersman, Tammy Jo Corn,
Robert Barch Jr., Renee C.
Barch and Shawn Barch, four
great-grandchildren, two sisters, Sophia Latta and Bertha
Bilski, both of Arnold City, and
one brother, Joseph Barch of
Belle Vernon. Friends will be received in the ELEY-McCRORY FUNERAL HOME INC.,334 Main St.,Fayette City,Pa.,Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.,and on Friday until 9:30 a.m.,when a Blessing service will be held in the funeral home,followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m.in Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church,Fayette City,with the Rev. Leonard McAlpin as celebrant. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. A parish wake service will be held Thursday at 3 p.m.in the funeral home.
