Lillian Mary Zollars Burgoyne, 85, of Harmon House, Mt. Pleasant, formerly of Charleroi, died Saturday, Oct. 30, 1999, at 12:20 a.m. Born Feb. 8, 1914, in Monessen, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Learnard Zollars. A graduate of Charleroi High School, Mrs. Burgoyne was employed as a technician in the laboratory of Corning Glass Works, Charleroi plant. She retired in 1967 with 33 years of service. She was a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints of Charleroi. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Aelred P. Burgoyne; three brothers, Samuel, William and Russell Zollars; and a sister, Virginia Mae Hughes. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Mrs. Burgoyne is survived by five nieces, Ellen Mackey of Scottdale, Bertha Zollars of Charleroi, Mary Lou Baum of Mission Viejo,Calif., Christine Zollars and Claudine Galeron of Marseille, France; two nephews, James Hughes of New Stanton and Joseph Hughes of Elkins, W.Vn.; a brother-in-law, Robert Hughes of Fellsburg; and a sister-in-law, Fran Zollars of Fallowfield Township. There will be no viewing, and private graveside services will be conducted at a later date. The SCHROCK-HOGAN FUNERAL HOME INC., 226 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, is in charge of arrangements.
