Edith H. Bamford;94;of Rostraver Township;died Friday;May 21;1999;in Mon Valley Hospital. Born in Manchester;England;on Aug.9;1904;she was a daughter of the late John and Martha Phillips. Mrs.Bamford was a homemaker and was a member of Fells United Methodist Church;Rostraver Township. Survivors include her husband;Elmer E.Bamford;and a son;David E.Bamford of Pittsburgh. Mrs.Bamford was the last surviving member of her family on nine siblings. Friends will be received Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the James C.Stump Funeral Home Inc.;580 Circle Dr.;Sweeney Plan/Rostraver Township. Funeral services will be held Monday at 10 a.m.in the funeral home with the Rev.Marlin A.Miller;pastor of Fells United Methodist Church;officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The James C.Stump Funeral Home Inc.is in charge of arrangements.
