DIED AT INTEGRATED HEALTH SERVICES OF PINELLAS PARK ANDERSON-MCQUEEN(MCLEOD)FUN.HOME-ST.PETERSBURG;FLA.
Margaret M. Bickerton,85,of St. Petersburg,Fla.,died Tuesday,Feb. 24,1998,in Integrated Health Service System of Pinellas Park,Fla. Born May 1,1912,in Fairhope,she was a daughter of the late Stephen and Mary E. Smith Riskey. A resident of Florida the past 35 years,Mrs. Bickerton had been a member of the Allenport United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents,she was preceded in death by her husband,Harry Bickerton,who died Nov. 14,1966. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law,Nancy L. and William Fritsky of Munhall and Barbara and Richard Palfrey of Dunnellon,Fla.;one stepson,Harry Bickerton of Illinois;one stepdaughter,Dorothy Barness of Aliquippa;one brother,John Riskey of Monroeville;five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a friend,Henry J. Urban of St. petersburg.She was also preceded in death by a brother, Robert Riskey,in 1945 and a sister,Thelma Cavanaugh in 1990. Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Ferguson Funeral Home,Inc.,700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,where services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Charles K. Sowden officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Ferguson Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
