Obituary

Walter Brazon,75,of Lynnwood,Belle Vernon,died Saturday,April 1,1995,in Presbyterian University Hospital,Pittsburgh. Born Nov.25,1919,in Washington Township,he was the son of the John Brazon and Susan Bakus Brazon of Fairhope,who survives. Mr.Brazon was a member of St.Joseph Polish National Catholic Church,Fairhope. He was a U.S.Army Air Force veteran of World War II and a member of Brightwell Daugherty Post 484 American Legion,Fayette City. He graduated from Carneige Tech with a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering and was retired from the U.S.government,having been employed as a civil engineer for the U.S.Army Corps of Engineers at the Pittsburgh office. He was a former member of the Washington Township Municipal Authority. In addition to his father,he was preceded in death by a daughter,Barbara A.Brazon,on Oct.24,1988. Surviving,in addition to his mother,are his wife,Emily M.Brazon,two sons and daughters-in-law,Dr.David J.and Tami J.Brazon of Belle Vernon and Dr.Richard A.and Barbara Brazon of Wilkes Barre,three grandchildren,Kristen,Stephen and Eric Brazon,and a brother,Edward Brazon of Pittsburgh. Friends will be received Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.and Wednesday until 11 a.m.in the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home,Fayette City. Services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m.in the funeral home with the Rev.Felix Pyzowski officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home.
