Rose P.Britt;74;of Wickhaven;died Thursday;Jan.5;1995;at 4:30 p.m.at home. Born May 29;1920;in Bridgeport;Ohio;she was the daughter of the late Frank and Hilda Peyton Porter. She was a resident of Wickhaven since 1960. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by her husband;James E.Britt;in 1975;a son;William Britt;in 1972;and a sister;Ora Grace VanFossen. Surviving are five sons and four daughters-in-law;Frank and Patty Britt of Monongahela;Charles and Janet Britt of Belle Vernon;Ronald and Mary Britt of Perryopolis;James and Debbie Britt of Shadyside;Ohio;and Terry Britt;at home;two daughters;Mrs.Lynn (Shirley) Parshall and Mrs.Harry (Carol) Stuckslager;both of Perryopolis;one brother;Milton Porter of St.Clairsville;Ohio;one sister;Hilda Chuckery of Lansing;Ohio;11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;where services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m.with the Rev.James F.Moffett of the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church;Fayette City;officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.
