Alberta G. Brandon,79,of 104 Beacon St., Belle Vernon,died Wednesday,July 20,1994,at 4:04 p.m. in Mon Valley Hospital. She was born June 21,1915,in North Belle Vernon,a daughter of the late Jake and Bertha White Steinmiller. Mrs. Brandon was a member of Pricedale Union Church. A lifelong resident of the Belle Vernon area,she was also a member of the Belle Vernon Golden Agers,Fayette City Golden Agers and Rostraver AARP. Survivors include her husband,John H. "Bud: Brandon;one son,John Thomas Brandon of Romulus, Mich.;one daughter,Sondra Bruce of Belle Vernon;one brother,Herman Steinmiller of Belle Vernon; four grandchildren,Scott and Derrick Bruce,Thomas Brandon and Chrissy Conrad;and two great-grandchildren,Michelle Brandon and Nathaniel Bruce.In addition to her parents,she was preceded in death by a brother, Jake Steinmiller,and a sister, Alice Clifford. Friends will be received Thursday and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.,700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,where services will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor James J. Mimidis of Pricedale Union Church and Pastor Larry Walker of First Baptist Church, Belle Vernon,co-officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by the Ferguson Funeral Home.
