Virginia H. Burry of 407 Barnes St.,Wilkinsburg,formerly of Allenport,died suddenly on Saturday,Dec.13,1986,at 1 a.m. in Forbes Metro,Wilkinsburg. She was 73. Mrs. Burry was born Nov. 21,1913,in West Brownsville,a daughter of the late Raymond and Lenora Thompson Baird. She was a member of Allenport United Methodist Church. A former teacher's aide at Charleroi Area High School,Mrs. Burry had lived in Wilkinsburg the past eight years. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband,Edgar J. Burry,June 27,1976. Survivors include one son,David E. Burry of Baldwin Borough,one daughter,Mrs. Leo (Marie) Qualiotto of Wilkinsburg,with whom she made her home;three sisters,Gerry Morningstar of Wilkinsburg,and Vivian Hite and Grace Shrader,both of Belle Vernon and three grandchildren.Friends will be received Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Shelby D. Ferguson Funeral Home,700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,where services will be held Tuesday,Dec. 16,at 11 a.m. with the Rev. John Fleischman,pastor of the Allenport United Methodist Church,officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D. Ferguson,funeral director,is in charge of arrangements.
