Sophie Ciepielowski Boczek of 217 Belle Vernon Apartments;Belle Vernon;died Sunday;March 2;1986;at 3:20 p.m.in Mon Valley Hospital;Carroll Twp. She was 86. Mrs.Boczek was born Oct.4;1899;in Poland;a daughter of the late Jacob and Mary Ciepielowski. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by her husband;Stanley Boczek;in 1949;by a son;Walter Boczek;and by 13 brothers and sisters. Mrs.Boczek had resided in the Belle Vernon area for the past 70 years. She was a member of St.Sebastian R.C.Church;Belle Vernon;the Ladies Guild of the Church;the Legion of Mary of the Church;Catholic Daughters of America Belle Vernon Court 1522;Polish National Alliance Lodge No.976;Arnold City;and the Belle Vernon Golden Agers. Surviving are one son;Raymond Boczek;of Farmington Hills;Mich.;one daughter;Mrs.Metro (Marie) Kundrick;of Belle Vernon;and two grandchildren;Raymond and Judith Boczek;both of Farmington Hills;Mich. Friends will be received Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home;626 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon. Catholic Daughters of America Belle Vernon Court No.1522;St.Sebastian Ladies Guild and St.Sebastian’s Legion of Mary will connduct joint services Wednesday at 3 p.m.in the funeral home. A Prayer Service will be held Thursday at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home;followed by a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St.Sebastian’s R.C.Church;Belle Vernon. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery;Belle Vernon. The Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
