Joyce E.Blackey;175 Highland Terrace;Donora;died Sunday;Dec.22;1985;at 8 p.m.in the Washington County Health Center;Washington. She was 44. Mrs.Blackey was born in Uniontown on March 4;1941. She was preceded in death by her mother Ernestine Pace;and her stepfather John Hardy. She had been a resident of Donora eight years. Prior to that she was a resident of Monessen. She was Baptist by faith. Survivors include her son;Delmar Pace of Donora;a daughter-in-law;Alleyne Pace of Donora;two daughters;Lorraine Pace and Rochelle Blackey;both of Donora;a brother;John Walker Hardy Jr.of Pittsburgh;a sister;Viola Griffin of New York;seven grandchildren;and a host of nieces;nephews and other relatives. Friends will be received at the William R.Taylor Funeral Home;645 McMahon Ave.;Monessen;on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Saturday from 11 a.m.to 1 p.m.at the Whole Truth Church of God in Christ;Donora;where services will be held at 1 p.m. that day with the Rev.Maurice B.Wade Sr.officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The William R.Taylor Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
