Born Dec.10;1922;in Donora;he was a son of the late Thomas and Anna Sanko Bednarczyk.He retired as a foreman for the Metal Source Co.of Warren;Mich. In addition to his parents;Mr.Bednarczyk was preceded in death by his wife;Kathleen O’Toole Bednarczyk and a brother;Theodore. Surviving are one daughter;Mrs.Brickel;wife of Dr.David Brickel of Bad Axe;three grandchildren;two brothers;Andrew of Detroit;Mich.and Thomas of Ohio;four sisters;Mrs.Kathryn Dzvonick of Donora;Mrs.Italo (Eva) Rizzi of Elyri;Ohio;Mrs.Alfred (Helen) Toth of Bethel Park and Mrs.Walter (Dorothy) Jakubik of Utica;Mich.and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Paul Macik Funeral Home;546 Thompson Ave.;Donora. Blessing services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev.John M.Loya;pastor of St.Michael’s Church officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Contributions may be made in Mr.Bednarczyk’s memory to St.Michael’s Byzantine Catholic Church;Donora;through the funeral home. The Paul Macik Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
