Obituary

Anna Mae (Lunt) Baumgardner of Vesta Number Six,Pa.,died Saturday,Nov.2,1985,in Shadyside Hospital,Pittsburgh. She was 65. Mrs.Baumgardner was born Dec.4,1919,in Uniontown,Cambria County,Pa.,a daughter of the late Earl D.and Samantha Benson Lunt. She was a member for 35 years of the West Brownsville Christian and Missionary Alliance Church. Surviving are her husband,Charles Baumgardner,four sons,Eugene F.Baumgardner of Akron,Ohio,Jerome C.Baumgardner of Willoughby,Ohio,Roy O.Baumgardner of Newport News,Va.,and David A.Baumgardner of Denbo,Pa.,three daughters,Patricia A.Woods of Denbo,Pa.,Karen L.Laucher of Canonsburg,Pa.,and Sharon R.McIntosh of Brownsville,23 grandchildren,two great-grandchildren,three brothers,James W.Smith of Charleroi,Earl H.Lunt of the state of California,and Leslie Lunt of West Newton,and four sisters,Helen Jadyk,Vernice Howarth and Vivian Bachinski,all of Monessen,and Loretta Lunt of Fairhope. In addition to her parents,she was preceded in death by a daughter,Mary Margaret,two grandchildren,a great-grandchild,three brothers,Rhul Lunt,Donald Lunt and Clarence Lunt,and two sisters,Rowena Prentice and Cora Lunt. Friends will be received in the Norman Wimer J.Funeral Home,Front St.,Brownsville,Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home,with the Rev.Robert Ellenberger officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery,Belle Vernon,Pa. The family suggests contributions in Mrs.Baumgardner's memory may be made to the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church,West Brownsville. The Norman J.Wimer Funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
