Mary Ellen Bricher Biggins of 306 Fell St.;North Belle Vernon;died Friday;Oct.28;1983;at 5 a.m.at Jefferson Health Center following a long illness. Mrs.Biggins was 66. She was born Dec.25;1916;in Greenville;Pa.;to the late John C.and A.Edith Larkin Bricher. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by a brother;John Bricher;and a sister;Katherine Killion. Surviving are her husband;John P.Biggins Sr.;;four sons;John P.Biggins Jr.;of North Belle Vernon;William E.of Lowell.Ohio;Michael C.of Flichburg;Mass.;and Christopher Biggins of North Belle Vernon;four daughters;Mrs.John A.(Frances) Gore of Fayetteville;N.C.;Mrs.Joseph E.(Catherine) Dutko of Bristol;Pa.;Beatrice M.Biggins of New York City;N.Y.;and Mrs.Harry (Rosemary) Horner of Brownsville. Also surviving are a brother;Joseph E.Bricher of Winthrop;Maine;three sisters;Mrs.James (Martha) Eastlake and Mrs.Donald (Alice) Baskin;both of Greenville;and Mrs.William (Beatrice) Carberry of Palm Springs;Calif.;15 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Mrs.Biggins had been a resident of North Belle Vernon for the past 32 years and was a member of St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church of Belle Vernon. Friends will be received Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home;626 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon where Belle Vernon Knights of Columbus Council 3026 will hold services Sunday at 7:30 p.m. On Monday;prayer services will begin at 10:30 a.m.at the funeral home;followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church of Belle Vernon. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery Chapel. The family suggests that contributions be made to the American Cancer Society in Mrs.Biggins’ memory. The Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
