Ina C. Brown of 5230 N.Laramie,Chicago,Ill.,formerly of the Belle Vernon area,died Saturday,April 17,1982 at 7:12 p.m. She was 81. Born Oct. 9,1900 in Scotland,she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Catherine Penman Boyd. Mrs. Brown was a former member of the First Presbyterian Church of Belle Vernon. She was also a member of the Belle Vernon Eastern Star No.196 and also a past matron. She lived most of her life in the Belle Vernon area and had resided in Chicago for the past 16 years. In addition to her parents,she was preceded in death by her husband, Horace in 1978 and a daughter Grace. Survivors include four sisters,Mrs. Harold (Catherine) Kelly of Montoursville,Pa.,Mrs. Grace Feeney of Belle Vernon,Mrs. James (Helen) Reed of Belle Vernon and Margaret Sabatini of West Lafeyette,Ind.;two grandchildren,Ina Pearsall and William Connall,both of Chicago;and a son-in-law,Edward Connall of Chicago. Friends are being received at the Shelby D. Ferguson Funeral Home,700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m.and Wednesday until the hour of service at 11 a.m. The Rev. Charles LaPlaca of the First Presbyterian Church,Belle Vernon will officiate. Burial will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Belle Vernon Eastern Star will hold services for Mrs. Brown on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Shelby D. Ferguson,funeral director, is in charge of arrangements.
