Annolene Buxton of Perryopolis R.D.2,died Wednesday,March 31,1982 at 10:21 a.m. in the Mon Valley Hospital following a lengthy illness. She was 77. Mrs. Buxton was born Dec.12,1904 in Jeannette,Pa.,a daughter of the late Joseph and Jane Tickle Simon. She was a member of Holy Spirit R.C. Church,Fayette City. Mrs. Buxton was preceded in death by her husband,Esper Buxton,in 1965. Survivors include one brother,Joseph A. Simon of Vanderbilt R.D.1 and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received in the Howard W. McCrory Funeral Home,Fayette City,on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m.,Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Saturday until 11:30 a.m. at which time a Prayer service will be held in the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at noon at Holy Spirit R.C.Church,Fayette City,with the Rev. Fr. Thomas G. Rinn,pastor of the church,as celebrant. A parish wake service will be held on Friday at 8 p.m. in the funeral home and a Rosary service will be held on Friday at 8:30 p.m. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Howard W. McCrory Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
