Joseph A. Balderoni,35 Donner Ave.,Monessen,died Saturday, Feb. 21,1981 at 4:42 a.m. in the Mon Valley Hospital,Inc.,Carroll Twp. He had been admitted to the hospital last Sunday. Born in Speers,he was a life-long resident of Monessen. Mr. Balderoni was an employee of the former Page Division, American Chain and Cable Co.,Monessen,working in the rod docks department. He retired in 1963. He was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church and the Mon Valley Association of Retired Steelworkers (M.A.R.S.),both of Monessen. Survivors include his widow, Helen Piisila Balderoni,and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received in the Rhome Funeral Home Inc.,1209 Grand Blvd,Monessen,Sunday and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. in St. Luke's Lutheran Church,Monessen,with the Rev. Charles L. Barber,pastor,officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Rhome Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.
