Mrs.Bowers was born March 24;1896;in Plum Run;W.Va.;a daughter of the late Dempsey D.and Similda Headley Haines. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Charleroi. She was preceded in death by her husband;LLoyd Bowers;on Jan.7;1975. Survivors include one brother;Clyde D.Haines of Florence;Pa.;and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received in the Schrock Hogan Funeral Home;226 Fallowfield Ave.;Charleroi;from 7 to 9 p.m.Friday. Services will be held at 1 p.m.Saturday;with the Rev.Frank A.Bodnar;pastor of the First United Methodist Church of Charleroi;officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
