Obituary

John Andercheck,90,of 360 Helen Ave.,Monessen,died Thursday,Dec.21,1995,in his home following a lengthy illness.  Born May 26,1905,in Charleroi,he was a son of the late Michael and Anna Milochik Andercheck. A lifelong resident of Monessen,he retired in 1968 after 50 years of service at Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corporation's Monessen plant where he was a supervisor in the bundling room.  Mr. Andercheck was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church of Monessen.  He was also a member of the Monessen Lions Club and Monessen Elks Lodge 773.  He was a social member of Belle Vernon American Legion and Monessen No.2 Firemen's Club.  Survivors include his wife,Anna Pushnack Andercheck;three daughters,Sonya Anderson of Monessen,Mrs. Henry (Lorraine) Vandernitte of Belle Vernon and Mrs. Jack (Dorothy) Janosik of Valley View,Ohio;eight grandchildren,Cheryl Kramer of Belle Vernon,John Kissell of Monessen,Melanie Nakawatase of Glendale,Calif.,Timothy Kissell of Avon Lake,Ohio,David Janosik of Fort Myers,Fla.,Dennis Janosik of Parma,Ohio,Daniel Janosik of Auburn,Ohio,and Donald Janosik of Garfield Heights,Ohio;16 grandchildren;three great-grandchildren;and two sisters,Anna Tomasiak and Mary Liby of Warren,Ohio. In addition to his parents,he was preceded in death by a brother,Michael Andercheck;and a son-in-law,Paul Kissell Jr.   Friends will be received Tuesday,from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Rhome Funeral Home Inc.,1209 Grand Blvd.,Monessen,where services will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m.with the Rev. David Fink officiating.  Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Monessen.  The Rhome Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
