Joseph A. Allfree; 73; of
Speers Hill; died Wednesday;
Dec. 21; 1994; at 10 p.m. in his
home.
Born July 8; 1921; in North
Charleroi; a son of the late
Joseph and Garnet White
Allfree.
He was a member of the First
Christian Church of Charleroi.
Mr. Allfree was also a member; past exalted ruler and past
board vice president of BPOE
Lodge 494.
In addition; he was a member
of VFW Post 167 of Charleroi
and Roscoe American Legion.
A U.S. Air Force veteran of
World War II; he was retired
from the Wheeling-Pittsburgh
Steel Corp. Allenport plant.
Survivors include his wife;
Mildred Diethorn Allfree; and
three sisters; Belle Brutout and
Mary Wood; both of Charleroi;and Harriet Downer of Carroll Township. Friends will be received Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m.and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Schrock-Hogan Funeral Home Inc.;226 Fallowfield Ave.;Charleroi;where services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m.with the Rev.Norman Hunt of the Christian Church of California officiating. Mr.Alfree is also survived by nieces and nephews. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. the Schrock-Hogan Funeral Home Inc.is in charge of arrangements.
