Agnes Antal of 369 May St.;North Belle Vernon;died Thursday;April 16;1981 at 3:30 a.m. in the Mon Valley Hospital. She was 101. Mrs.Antal was born Feb.5;1880;in Kracow;Poland;a daughter of the late John and Julia Golema;and came to the United States in 1902. She began her married life in Pricedale;but soon moved to Belle Vernon;where she spent the rest of her life. Mrs.Antal was a member of Saint Sebastian R.C.Church in Belle Vernon. She was predeceased by her husband;Martin Antal Sr.;in 1962. Survivors include seven daughters;Mrs.Anna Cernicky of Hamden.Mass.;Mrs.Helen Bassar of Midland;Pa.;Mrs.Mary Leonard of Wheeling;West Va.;Mrs.Walter (Elizabeth) Lucas;Pauline Antal;Mrs.Sophie Nusser and Mrs.James (Stella) Trenk;all of Belle Vernon;four sons;John of Baltimore;Md.;Martin Jr.;Stephen and Joseph;all of Belle Vernon;31 grandchildren;46 great-grandchildren;and four great-great-grandchildren. Friends will be received in the Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home;626 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 2 to 4 p.m.and 7 to 9 p.m. A Blessing Service will be held Saturday at noon in the funeral home followed by interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Due to Holy Week;a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday;April 20;at 10 a.m. in Saint Sebastian R.C.Church;Belle Vernon. The Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
