After a long; difficult; courageous battle with cancer; Deborah Ann Travis went to be with her heavenly Father on March 27; 2014; at her home in Smithton; formerly of Perryopolis. She was born in Cleveland; Ohio; on Aug. 22; 1957; the daughter of Norma (Krukowsky) Lasko and the late; Raymond R. Lasko Sr. Debbie was a very loving daughter; sister; mother and grandmother. She enjoyed her precious family trips to the beach; gardening; crafts and making sweet treats for everyone. One of her fondest memories was being the Frazier Homecoming Queen in the Class of 1975. She is survived by her mother; two daughters; Alexis Petrosky and husband; Mike; and Jessica McGowan and husband; Mac; all of Belle Vernon and their father; James Travis of Perryopolis; grandchildren; Travis Smith and Ruby McGowan; Nolace and Neville Petrosky; sister; Vicki Narron and husband; Jimmy; of Wake Forest; N.C.; sister-in-law; Denise Lasko of Clear Water; Fla.; and many aunts; uncles; cousins and dear friends. Debbie was preceded in death by her father; brother; Raymond Lasko Jr.; and granddaughter; Lena Petrosky. Friends will be received in the BLAIR-LOWTHER FUNERAL HOME INC.; 305 Rear Independence St.; Perryopolis; on Sunday; from 1 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. where a prayer service will be held on Monday; at 9:30 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial in St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church; Perryopolis; at 10 a.m. with the Rev. James Petrovsky as celebrant. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery; Belle Vernon. In lieu of flowers; the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Three Rivers Hospice; 1195 Jacks Run Road; North Versailles; PA 15137. The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to the special people that took such good care of her during her battle including; Brian Rodriguez; Leslie Chalfant; Bettyann Rock; and her nurse; Robin Smith from Three Rivers Hospice.
