Louis A. Aebi; 69; of Charleroi; died Thursday; Jan. 30; 2014. Born March 20; 1944; in Charleroi; he was the son of the late Jerry and Madeline Stipes Aebi. Having previously resided in Belle Vernon; Mr. Aebi was a resident of Charleroi for the past year and a member of the Lover Church of Christ. He was a retired truck driver from Roadway Trucking; a veteran of the Vietnam War where he served in the U.S. Army; member of the Belle Vernon American Legion Post 659; Fayette City-Washington Township Lions Club; and Fairhope Rod and Gun Club. He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law; Shawn and Robert Allen of Edgewater; Md.; two brothers; Zane Aebi of Southwest Greensburg; and Dr. Charles J. Aebi of Vincent; Ohio; and a grandson; Duane Allen. He was preceded in death by a brother; Benjamin F. Aebi.
