Obituary

Livingston Libby Kizzie Sr., 78, of Monessen, departed this life Dec. 17, 2012, at Monongahela Valley Hospital . He was born Nov. 22, 1934, to the late John T. and Gertrude Wright Kizzie. Libby, as he was called, was a very loving and caring man. He was educated in the Monessen school system. He completed electrical training at the Monessen Vocational School. He also was a home remodeler and construction worker and was a member of the American Legion, Anthony Madison Post 704, and the Elks Lodge No. 697 of Monessen. He also served in the U.S. Navy. He leaves to cherish his memories two sons, Kerry C. Kizzie of Pittsburgh and Livingston Kizzie Jr. of Florida, one daughter, Davida Marie Kizzie of Colorado Springs, two brothers, Floyd (Vicki) Kizzie Sr. of Monessen, John (Susie) Kizzie of Pittsburgh, two sisters, Frankie Kizzie and Beatrice Kizzie, both of Pittsburgh, a goddaughter, Denise Wade of Monessen, seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 21, 2012, at the WILLIAM R. TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME, Monessen. At 7 p.m., the Elks service will begin as well as a veteran's service following. The Rev. Darryll West will give a Eulogy after the services rendered. Interment will be at the Belle Vernon Cemetery. Services have been entrusted to the William R. Taylor Funeral Home, 645 McMahon Ave., Monessen PA 15062, Trudy Taylor Bristol, funeral director in charge, 724-684-4877.
