Thomas Royce Brown; Age 67; of Tampa; Fl. passed away Monday; November 19; 2012. He was born in Scunthorpe; England and moved to Florida 40 years ago from Pittsburgh. He worked at GTE for over 20 years; a die hard Steelers fan; he was a member of the Bay Area Black and Gold Club and an Eagle Scout. He was predeceased by his father; Thomas A. Brown. He is survived by his loving wife; Cheryl Alton Brown; daughter: Molly Detwiler & her husband; Cris of New Stanton; PA.; son: Chris Brown & his wife; Brenda of Green Bay; WI.; mother: Edith Brown of California; PA.; sister: Janet Vandermer & her husband; Kenneth of Irwin; PA.; brother: Robert Brown & his wife; Sandra of Charlotte; NC.; grandsons: Casey Detwiler and Michael Brown; granddaughters Erin & Laura Brown. Royce was a caring father and grandfather. He loved playing with his grandchildren and he always had time to help a friend. He made a real difference in the lives of his family and friends and he will be greatly missed. Friends will be received on Friday; December 7; 2012 from 6 to 8 P.M. at the Ferguson Funeral Home and Crematory; Inc.; 700 Broad Avenue; Belle Vernon; 724-929-5300 with a Memorial service at 8 P.M. in the funeral home with Rev.
