William E. Hoyes; 96; of Belle Vernon; passed away; Sunday; Dec. 25; 2011; in Mon Valley Hospital; Carroll Township. He was born Jan. 7; 1915; in Belle Vernon; a son of the late William C. Hoyes and the late Alice Carrie Haught Hoyes. He was a retired recreational vehicle dealer. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He is survived by his wife of 72 years; Margaret Molle Hoyes; two granddaughters; Shelley Canigiani and husband; Dan; and Renee Silvestro and husband; Mark; and two great grandsons; Brody and Blake Silvestro.
