S. Wayne Gough; 73; of Belle Vernon; passed away Saturday; March 17; 2012; in his home. A son of the late Sylvester Wainwright Gough and Hilda Schultz Gough; he was born in Rostraver Township on Jan. 6; 1939. A lifelong resident of Belle Vernon; Wayne was a life member of the North Belle Vernon Volunteer Fire Department and a member of the Westmoreland County Firemen’s Association. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law; Michael W. and Diane Gough; of West Newton; one sister and brother-in-law; Blanche and Robert Kopanic; of Donora; two grandchildren; Alan Gough and Michelle Gough; four nieces; Carol (Neal) Rands; Cathy (John) Enright; Cindy (Eric) Santori and Christine (Lou) Caviris; and a dear friend; Ruth Granato; of Belle Vernon.
