Michael D. Ross; 57; of North Belle Vernon; died Friday; April 13; 2012; at 8:30 p.m. at Monongahela Valley Hospital; Carroll Township. Born May 31; 1954; in North Charleroi; he was the son of the late John J. Ross Sr. and Ann Mendicino Ross. Mr. Ross was a lifelong resident of North Belle Vernon and member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church. He was a retired laborer from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel and member of the Belle Vernon Knights of Columbus Council 3026. He is survived by three brothers and two sisters-in-law; John J. Ross Jr. and wife; Cindy; of North Belle Vernon; Anthony Toby Ross; of North Belle Vernon; and Thomas and Trenise Ross; of Stephens City; Va.; nieces and nephews; Laurie Ross and fiance; Paul Gianinni; Thomas Ross; and Travis Ross; nephew-in-law; Brian Rotheram; great-nieces and nephews; Brook Rotheram; Brianna Rotheram and Brian Rotheram; and godmother; Rose Sabatini. In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by his niece; Sherry Ross Rotheram. Visitation will be held Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATIONS; Family Owned and Operated; 626 Broad Ave.; Belle Vernon; (724) 929-6183. Prayer service will be held Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home followed by Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church with the Rev. Msgr. Roger A. Statnick; pastor; as celebrant. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
